Accommodation
The house sleeps up to 5 people. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living area.

Outside
There is a small garden all around the house with fruit trees and grape vines. There is off street parking with a vine shaded pergola.

Facilities
This charming house provides all basic home comforts:
- Both bedrooms have air-condition.
- Hot water is provided by solar panels.
- The kitchen has fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, electric kettle, microwave oven.
- There is a washing machine in the outbuilding.
- In the living/dining room, there is a TV set, dining table and chairs, French windows to the balcony.
- Windows have insect net protectors.
- There is a sheltered garden shower in addition to the one in the bathroom.

Location
About 2.5 km from the fishing village of Agii Apostoli, north east of Attika and opposite the island of Evia. Around 50km from Athens and the international airport. Just 100 metres from the beach.

June/September: 300 euro

This lovely summer house is ideal for family holidays.
July and August it's very busy as a lot of Athenians have second homes there. Once schools start in September, it's the perfect retreat and you can have the whole beach to yourselves. Weather is still very mild and the sea is at its calmest. It's also lovely in May and June for those who prefer a more quiet holiday.

About the area

Agii Apostoli has grown from a small fishing village, to a holiday resort for the Athenians. In summer, the place is buzzing, especially at weekends.

There is an excellent taverna (very reasonable prices) and a cafeteria close by, on the seafront. There are several more tavernas within walking distance including a pizzaria.

Several small shops are on the road to the village. The village itself has grocery shops, petrol station, pharmacy, tavernas, cinemas, amusement park (during summer only) newsagent’s, etc.

Many more shops and banks can be found at the town of Oropos which is about half an hour drive. Nearest medical centre is at Kapandriti.

There is no public transport from the house to the village which is half an hour walk. From the village, there are regular buses to Athens and to Oropos. There are also taxis.

Places to visit

In Athens, buses terminate close to the National Archeological Museum - perfect day trip.

Close to the village of Kalamos, there is a little-known ancient temple, Amphiarion. The sanctuary, hidden in a ravine, was a combination of an oracle and a place for healing. There is a small museum at the site.

From Oropos, there are regular ferries to the island of Evia.
