Description
A
rural cluster of 87 new luxurious houses, designed according to the traditional
Pelion architecture. The complex occupies a total area of 12,600 m²,
of which only 3,653 m² are covered by the buildings and it is spread
over a steep hill which allows unlimited views to the sea for all properties.
One
main street, 4 meters wide, starts from the lowest point, where the gatehouse
with the stop-bar is placed, and runs through the whole complex, providing
access to each one of the properties and to the underground parking space
of each house.
The
houses are placed in different hypsometrical levels, so as to benefit
of the natural inclination of the ground and assure the maximum possible
view for each villa.
The
properties are now offered for sale at the off-plan stage. Construction
work will start in summer 2007 and the properties will be completed in
2009.

188 m² for the larger villas.

About
Pelion
Pelion,
in the prefecture of Magnesia, is a unique area of Greece that combines
natural beauty with history and legend, culture and tourist infrastructure.
The mountain of Pelion rises impressively between the calm waters of the
Pagasitikos Gulf on the West and the Aegean Sea on the East.

According
to Greek legend, Pelion was chosen by the 12 gods of Olympus as their
summer residence. It is from here that Jason and the Argonauts set sail
in search of the famous Golden Fleece. Pelion is also the land of the
mythical Centaurs, half horses-half people.

The
area has much to offer: picturesque fishing villages, beautiful
beaches on both sides of the peninsula (many of which have been
awarded blue flag status), the opportunity to enjoy both water and winter
sports, magnificent walks or trekking and many tourist attractions
from museums to a steam train. The town of Volos offers
all amenities while the cosmopolitan island of Skiathos
is a few hours’ trip by boat.

The
region is densely forested with abundant waters springing
up everywhere. There is a good road network that connects the 24 famous
stone-built villages of Pilion with their unique architecture
and cobbled streets.

The
area is renowned for its preserves of apples, pears and cherries which
grow abundantly. Olive trees are grown in the southern parts while an
excellent honey is produced in the more mountainous areas. In the numerous
tavernas, traditional dishes are made with fresh, local produce.
